Currently helping a large e-commerce company based at Singapore, to help fill up a role in Bangalore on Contract to Hire basis.

Carousell is looking for Assistant Manager - Accounting, the post holder will work as part of a corporate controllership team responsible for the financial accounting, consolidation and audit lead for the Group. This is an independent contributor role who has to collaborate with finance team across the group and reports to Accounting Senior Manager and is based in Bangalore.

This role will be on contract basis for a period of 6 months and based on the performance of the candidate will be converted to Full time.

Responsibilities
1) Manage Group Monthly Consolidation process
2) Maintain calendar with timelines Co-ordinate with local controllers on the close, meeting stipulated deadlines
3) Assists in preparation of monthly management report and accompanying schedules, worksheets and narratives.
4) Assist in providing follow-up and documentation of significant variances.
5) Preparation of Monthly reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts
6) Assist with annual external audit. Complete requested materials. Assist in preparing assigned schedules for the annual and interim audit.
7) Document policies, procedures and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility.
8) Assist on ad hoc projects

Requirements
1. Bcom+ACCA affiliate, Chartered Accountant with 3-4 years of relevant experience in Consolidation, Driving Month close and audit co-ordination.
2. Working knowledge on Netsuite
3. Possess good IT skills and expert on excel/google sheet
4. Comfortable to work on both routine and ad-hoc requirements.
5. Good written and verbal communication skills.
6. Highly motivated and well-organized individual, able to work well under pressure
