What you need to know
- Finalization of Balance sheet, Profit and Loss accounts and Cash Flows for Domestic companies & Foreign branches as per NAIC Instructions.
- Finalization of NAPC STAT Managed Results and Analytics for P & C Companies.
- Responsible for analysis and finalization of US NAPC GAAP to STAT Walk.
-End to end responsible for the finalization of yellow book including analysis of quarterly and annual movements in financial statements of combined pool and eaglestone.
-Preparation of schedules related to line of business, risk-location, related party and bank balances for P & C Companies.
-Preparation of Notes to accounts and General interrogatories .
-Work closely with various department specifically Investments, actuarial, Reinsurance and tax dept.; need to check accuracy of data and handle queries.
-Exposure in identifying Non routine transactions including impact on entities financial.
-Knowledge of insurance accounting and reporting, ability to analyze data for inaccuracies and drive corrections to processes as needed.
-Experience in Accounting & Reporting for premiums and reserves.
-Participate and lead key process improvement projects - Innovative and always looking for continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for:
• 10 or more years of experience in data, finance, or business analysis
• Accounting or Finance degree is required - ACCA
• Experience in the Insurance industry and knowledge of financial services is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and work closely with cross-functional teams and management to accomplish objectives.
• Well organized, highly detailed, quantitative skills and strong focus on accuracy
• Adapts easily to change, can manage in an uncertain environment, ability to maintain composure under pressure and manage multiple tasks with competing interests for time and evolving priorities.
• Managerial leadership including the ability to mentor, coach and develop staff
• To be able to provide significant and complex financial analysis of activities, projects etc.
• Good verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible for shifts during close period to work along with our US P&C office
SHIFT: 12:30 PM – 9:30 PM
• Good time management skills – ability to handle multiple priorities, organize work and meet deadlines
• Innovative and always looking for continuous improvement in order to improve processes
• Good understanding of the key financial drivers for the Insurance industry
