Role & Responsibilities:

We offer a unique opportunity to be able to use your accounting knowledge in a commercial and operational role within the hospitality sector. Rubbing shoulders with some of the top chef’s and their teams. Being involved in a vibrant restaurant world.

The role encompasses a wide number of areas which include:

  • Management of a portfolio of clients
  • Regular interaction with investors, owners and operational teams
  • Review and submission of weekly and monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of projections and cashflows
  • Review and submission of VAT Returns
  • Understanding a client’s business in depth and being a business advisor to a client
  • Interacting with various internal teams including
  • Accounts preparation
  • Payroll
  • Audit
  • Compliance
  • IT and Process development
  • Direct interaction with the senior team within the organisation

Desired Candidate:

Candidate must have accounting experience including preparation and review of accounts. This experience could be via:        

  • Finalist with 3+ years of work experience
  • Part qualified ACCA but with significant length of work experience
  • 4+ years of experience
  • An excellent communicator
  • Advanced excel skills are a key requirement
  • A commercially aware individual ideally with experience (this is not a pre-requisite) in the hospitality sector
  • Experienced in reporting on financial, operational and strategic matters to senior management
  • Ability to prepare cash flows and forecasts to an advanced level
  • Someone with a genuine interest and passion in the restaurant scene and food
  • Should be able travel internationally if required
