Job description:

We are looking for a qualified ACCA over 4 years of experience in external auditing. This should include leading audits from the planning stage through to completion. The candidate should have experience with a range of entities, including small and medium companies in varying sectors, charities and solicitors. The role will consist of 80% audit work and 20% non-audit work such as bookkeeping and preparation of year end accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Auditing accounts
• Preparation of Financial Statements
• Computation of Corporation Tax/ Trust Tax.
• Preparation of Quarterly and Annual Management Accounts

Person specification:

We are looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant who has worked within an accounting practice environment.

The candidate:

• Should possess clear working knowledge of accounts and expertise in Audits
• Must have a strong foundation of the double entry system of bookkeeping
• Must have experience of working with senior management
• Should possess good communication skills
• Should be able to deal with changing internal and external demands in an organised manner
• Should be a quick learner, especially with accountancy software

Eligibility Criteria:

• ACCA qualified with 4 years of experience into Audit
• Should be aware of the audit requirements under the Clarity ISAs and also FRS 102.

The person should have a good exam track record and possess strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Xero, Sage and IRIS.
