Prepare payments for authorization by Jersey authorized signatories across multiple banking platforms, as well as paper-based payment instructions. You will use recent correspondence, data sets and templates to prepare the payments requiring a secure login to banking platforms, validating the banking transfer data and ensuring accuracy and meeting tight deadlines for payments as they arise.
You must have:
? Minimum of 2 years of payments experience in industry and/or professional practice
? Demonstrable knowledge of various types of corporate, trust and partnership / fund structures and understanding the differences between each.
? Understanding of segregation of duties, conflicts of interest and the control environment
? Understanding of the governance processes associated with making payments and the controls in place to prevent payments from being made to incorrect or unauthorized parties
? Bcom+ ACCA student ,3 year degree in Administration/Commerce/Law or any related field
? Proficiency in MS Office/ Excel and database management
? An ability to work well in a team environment, independent, meticulous, pro-active, attention to detail, self-motivated and ability to adapt to new challenges
? Communication Skills: effectively conveys information and expresses thoughts and facts coherently
? Fluent spoken and strong written English
? Open to travel and passport ready
Job description
? Liaise with local business teams informing them of missing requirements to facilitate preparation and input of payment information
? Ensuring that international banking protocols are adhered to and that sufficient information is available to ensure timely delivering of payments to recipients
? Accurately and efficiently input payments across multiple banking platforms for authorization by Jersey based authorized signatories
? Liaising with the local business teams where compliance blocks are raised or apparent from the client information relating to the payment
? Report in a timely manner any issues or concerns with respect to payments as well as successful completion of a payment to ensure efficient end to end process is assured
? Perform client administration duties such as maintaining databases of statutory or regulatory data, identifying gaps in KYC data required, completing reviews of existing KYC data on the systems
